Just subscribe already to his RSS feed, dammit

Because although Prometheus doesn’t post very often, just about every blogpost he does put out is a treasure.

He’s now written a 2-part series on how alternative practitioners acquire and keep their loyal subjects, er, “patients”, paying and grateful, called “How they do the voodoo that they do so well “:

Part 1 and Part 2.

The series deals primarily with practitioners who claim to cure autism, but many of their tactics could easily be extrapolated to any practitioner not using evidence-based treatments (i.e, those which have been shown to have an advantage over a placebo).

ETA: OK, he doesn’t seem to have an RSS feed (blush) . So at least bookmark the guy!

  1. He does have an RSS feed: http://photoninthedarkness.com/?feed=rss2

    And I followed your orders.

  2. My internet nanny at work blocks the site. Weird.

  3. Thanks, Blake. But you already knew I was a RSS dunce 😆 .

Li, my work firewall is doing the same thing to me with Dr. Amy’s (though interestingly, not with all Blogspot blogs). It’s just as well, the flu season is starting soon and I won’t have time to browse at work anyway.

  4. Prometheus is the awesomest.
